Hi Aarti, I liked this drawing in first view. I am not at all artist by any angle (I am engineer), so please forgive me if my comment is wrong - 1. As soon as I looked around neck - I think her shoulders are very narrow (particularly LHS for reader) 2, Finer brush for hair could have produced better result (particularly for brownish hair that are coming on her face)
Actually I can not even paint drawing of 10% accuracy than what you have done here, but in case you or OK with this comment I will post few more comment (Just because I like to observe others work)
Hi Ashish...thanks for visiting my blog and posting comments...sure Im happy to receive comments of both kind..one which motivate and the other kind which helps me to improve upon my skills...do keep posting comments on my art...
Yes...the shoulder looks disproportionate..but I actually wanted to crop that curved part of her shoulders..which got missed...and yes...I do keep experimenting with hair on different faces I sketch...do keep posting.
Hi Aarti! She looks wonderful. I agree with Ashish that if you use a smaller brush for the hair using two or three colors like you are doing you will see some great results. Your lips are really improving looking much more natural. I am only going by sight I am certainly not in a position to teach. Your ladies are wonderful!!! Love and Laughter , Gale
Hey Gale...thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your views...yes..I trust i really need to work upon the hair next time...and make them look much more natural...thanks again..!!
Just came off your blog. I am enjoying so much the fact that you share your progress with all of us. Your ladies and the quotes are just wonderful, Love and Laughter, Gale

I like this quote a lot and the fact that you are getting more dimension in
your portraits. The shadowing helps make her real :)
