Hi Robin..thanks so much for liking my art..actually both the portraits are of the same model, but the watercolor one is more closer to how she actually looks...as compared to the charcoal...somehow I always loved charcoal for the amazing shading effects they can provide...but in this case..I personally like the watercolor.
Both, the sketch and painting are very nice. The exquisite material/gown painted is superb even though a little color may emphasize the face/person. I don't know how much time it took you to do such great work, but it isn't easy.

Loved all your works Aarti! I also liked your idea of putting the quotes alongside.. feast for the eyes and food for the thoughts!
Thanks a lot Padmaja...yes I love quotes as well..!!
Your drawing is great but I just prefer the color. I love the shiny fabric on the other version also.
I like them both, but perfer the charcoal. It looks more refined.
Good job!
Peace,
Robin

They are both very good and I can appreciate each of them for the qualities the mediums bring out. Nicely done!

It would be difficult to choose one over the other. They are both
quite lovely.
