I can forgive...
I can forgive, but I cannot forget, is only another way of saying, I will not forgive. Forgiveness ought to be like a cancelled note - torn in two, and burned up, so that it never can be shown against one. ~Henry Ward Beecher
Nice drawing and very good quote. How often do we say we forgive but then we bring it up over and over. Glad your relative is doing better. So much stuff can get in the way of our art (which is usually considered the least important thing we do) but it's hard to feel really alive unless we are doing some.
