I have learned....
I have learned to live each day as it comes, and not to borrow trouble by dreading tomorrow. It is the dark menace of the future that makes cowards of us. ~Dorothy Day
With your regular drawing practice, suddenly, you seem to have learned something about drawing, too. This is a really strong, well-drawn, nuanced image with a strong composition. ..a breakthrough drawing, in my opinion.
@ Barbara -I have actually done the same kind of sketching with charcoal pencils as I usually do, but I have just done a little color effect editing in the picasa.
I like the quote. It can be so true. Just dealing with today can sometimes be almost too much so let tomorrow be. We'll get there soon enough.
ReplyDeleteI like your picture. It's a bit different than your usual being on the dark background.
Good art and good quote.
ReplyDeleteVery true!
ReplyDeleteGreat job. It looks like the model was wearing quite a bit of makeup!
ReplyDeleteI think this one is excellent Aarti, your image and statement go perfect together.

ReplyDeleteThanks Freebird, Ramona and Donna.
ReplyDelete@ Raena - not much of makeup - but probably the light and shadow effect seem to portray so.
