I have learned....

I have learned to live each day as it comes, and not to borrow trouble by dreading tomorrow. It is the dark menace of the future that makes cowards of us. ~Dorothy Day

  1. I like the quote. It can be so true. Just dealing with today can sometimes be almost too much so let tomorrow be. We'll get there soon enough.

I like your picture. It's a bit different than your usual being on the dark background.

  6. With your regular drawing practice, suddenly, you seem to have learned something about drawing, too. This is a really strong, well-drawn, nuanced image with a strong composition. ..a breakthrough drawing, in my opinion.

  9. @ Barbara -I have actually done the same kind of sketching with charcoal pencils as I usually do, but I have just done a little color effect editing in the picasa.

  11. @ Raena - not much of makeup - but probably the light and shadow effect seem to portray so.
