Gather....

Gather ye rose-buds while ye may;
Old Time is still a-flying;
And this same flower that smiles today,
Tomorrow will be dying.

  2. Aarti, you have such a way with expressive eyes! Lovely, I like the angle of the pose too.
    A very sensuous portrait.

  4. aarti,

    I don't comment as often as I should, but I wondefully enjoy the artistry you share with us daily. I like this one especially, and the sentiment applies so well to the loss I feel upon the death of my blogging friend, Liz Armbruster. Thank you.

  11. Aarti…….All of your portraits have a lot of character, which
    makes the drawing stand out, and several are of very pretty women such as this
    one. Your picture on the upper right shows
    you to be prettier. Although, this individual
    has a dramatic and mystical look with eyes that pierce, you on the other hand
    have a sweeter look.

    Working on features myself, I’ve noticed that big eyes are always
    fascinating, but the most appealing are when the eye circumference of the iris covers
    the white at the top and the bottom.
