Diamond Stars...

The jeweler allows me to wear the sapphire blue lake on my finger, the emerald green leaves around my neck, and take the citrine sunset with me wherever I go. Jewelry has become my daytime link to nature in an office with no windows. And if I have to work late, there's nothing like diamond stars and a pearl full moon against an onyx night sky. ~Astrid Alauda, "Office With No Windows

  7. Hi Aarti,
Even though I do not post comments to your blog eachtime, I try to send you a message each time I view your blog. I really like this painting. Is the subject wearing a sari? Nice attention to the details in the jewelry and the design in the fabric is well done. As always your paintings lift my spirits, I always smile when I see them.
    Best wishes,
    Trish

  8. Hi Trish....I'm glad to see you back and writing to me.

Thanks so much Trish that you appreciate my drawings so much...yes the lady is wearing a saree..she is actually an actor in the Indian Film Industry..i found her pic in a magazine...posing for a Diamond jewellery ad...she looked very pretty...that is what made me paint her.

Really feel happy that my paintings cheer you up...looking forward to viewing your latest art work as well...!!
