What is the Rangoli....!!

The term rangoli is derived from words rang (colour) and aavalli ('coloured creepers' or 'row of colours').

It is an old belief that once, a son of a King died and Brahma asked the king to paint a likeness of his son so that Brahma could breathe life into him again. This is how, it is believed, the first Rangoli was made.

This Rangoli in front of my home represents the likeness of the colours that fill love and togetherness in our lives....!!
